Galeri Nev İstanbul is excited to present “Family Dinner: A Group Exhibition” as the last show of the season. On view between May 23th and June 30th, 2017, the show brings together works by Murat Morova, Bilge Firedlaender, Nermin Er, Nejad Devrim, Melek Mazıcı,Gökçen Dilek Acay, Tayfun Erdoğmuş, Mike Berg and Ahmet Doğu İpek.
The common aspect of these contemporary and modern works that will be shown together is their use of paper as medium. The show is organized similar to a dinner table around which a big family is held together despite individual differences. The presentation of works by seven artists aim to enable different generations of artists to communicate with each other. The viewers are invited into the timeless space of the gallery where they are left to contemplate and interpret the works through their own perspective.
